Hey Guys,

Just want to thank you again for a really great time. What you do is such a blessing. I've been going to clubs since I was 15 years old (long time ago). These days most places seem to play hip hop, rap and even worse house/trance music. It's good to hear old fashioned rock and roll!

Getting out and dancing is particularly uplifting for me, because many days I have difficulty just walking. A few years back the doctors told me I have fibromyalgia. It's a condition characterized by chronic pain. I guess the point I'm trying to make is sometimes we don't know the positive affect we have on other peoples lives. You're the best! Take care.

Hi -

I just wanted to thank you and the crew for putting on a *CRAZY* show for us on Saturday night. My friends and I all enjoyed listening to you guys.

I saw y'all at Sully's a while back. I usually go there to practice my dancing. I like empty dance floors, as they allow my partner and I to practice more risky lifts and throws safely. To be brutally honest, the bands at Sully's usually don't get the crowd motivated enough to get off their asses. Ouch. So usually, these types of venues are a sure thing for dancers like me.

HOWEVER, the night Room 179 played, I was initially dismayed to see there were people head-bangin' and dancing all over the place! GAH no room for me!! Usually, I leave. But I decided to stay after seeing the performance. Here's a band that knows what it takes to raise the roof!

It's inspired me to try integrate more heavy metal into my bass playing. Fantastic!

If there's a mailing list, please add me to it.

Thanks,
Taffy

THE LIGHT HOUSE—Hermosa Beach, CA

I have seen many bands here. The club was full, there was a good amount of people who came out to see the band. From the first note of the night, the audience was captivated and responsive to a very well polished band featuring musicians that were obviously accomplished and knew what they were doing.

Def Leppard is one of those bands that if your going to play it, you better play it right. The songs are complex, melodic and dynamic. Room 179 seemed to have no problem at all kicking out tunes from "Led Zeplin ", "Red Hot Chili Peppers ", and "Motley Crue " to name a few. They played for over 4 hours straight with amazing energy, tone, and you could tell how much they all enjoyed what they were doing.

The lead singer interacted with the crowed like a pro. What was most impressive to me was everyone in the band sang! The vocal parts and harmonies were flawless! It sounded like a record (or should I say CD). These guys really did their homework when it came to the vocals. Leaad guitar played exceptionally. He had great tone (what do you expect with a Budda!), great chops and played with an obvious passion for the instrument. The basist, did an amazing job holding down the low end. The drummer hit the skins consistently and had an excellent meter!

To sum it up in a nutshell these guys kick ass, and I recommend you checking them out if you get the chance.
